Creating Phenomenal Futures
Inspiring young people to reach their full potential, personally and professionally.
We help young people believe in themselves, build the skills that matter,
and connect with a future they’re excited about.
The Love Local Jobs Foundation is a registered charity working with young people who are struggling
with confidence, aspiration, and direction.
We know that success isn’t just about qualifications. Many young people face hidden barriers such as low self-belief, anxiety, lack of role models, and limited understanding of what’s possible for them.
Through mentoring, real stories from local employers, and honest conversations about life and work, we help young people identify what’s holding them back and find the confidence and skills to move forward.
We work in partnership with schools, ethical employers, public sector organisations, and community groups to create meaningful, real-world opportunities that prepare young people not just for jobs, but for life beyond school.

How we do it
At the heart of our work is Dare to Dream, our flagship programme delivered in schools
and local communities across Sussex and Surrey.
Dare to Dream gives teenagers the opportunity to pause, reflect, and engage with people who share honest,
real-world perspectives on life, work, and the choices they’ve made.
The programme combines inspirational talks, interactive workshops, one-to-one mentoring,
and modern workplace experiences, delivered alongside local employers and relatable role models,
to help young people explore their strengths, broaden their thinking, and consider what might come next.
It is practical, engaging, and rooted in lived experience, empowering young people to
believe in their potential, dream bigger, and recognise they are capable of amazing things.
Changing lives
Since 2018, Dare to Dream has supported over 34,000 young people.
Working with 30+ schools and more than 1,200 business volunteers across Sussex & Surrey.
