Dare to Dream Roundup - July Newsletter

To our Love Local Jobs Foundation community and network of supporters,

Our final Dare to Dream event of the 2023/24 school year took place this month, drawing to a close another incredible year full of so much worth celebrating and to be proud of.

We’re absolutely delighted to have completed our first academic year as a fully-fledged registered charity and to continue building on the wonderful work that we’ve been so grateful to deliver. The 2024/25 Academic year will be our 10th year of delivery since our inaugural programme back in 2015!

We are also delighted to have delivered more Dare to Dream events than ever before with the support of many wonderful businesses, mentors and schools, reaching over 7,200 young people across Sussex.

We're already looking forward to what's in store for September onwards and the team will be working hard over the Summer to continue refining and developing the programme.

Each year we strive to apply all our learnings and feedback to ensure that our wonderful students, schools, businesses and mentors get an even better experience as the programme develops 😊.

It's been a truly remarkable year and we feel very grateful that we’ve been able to work with so many incredible people.

Whilst we’re incredibly proud of the number of young people we’ve been able to support this year and the continued growth in the reach of the programme, it's the impact of the core themes and witnessing the programme in action that's been the most rewarding part of this year's Dare to Dream.

The Love Local Jobs Foundation team can only do what we do and support the next generation across Sussex thanks to the time, commitment and generosity that you’ve all poured into our programme.

We’re determined to continue making our work increasingly accessible, so if you’ve been involved this year, or you've followed what we've been doing and you'd like to support in the future, please do get in touch and spread the word within your own networks - we'd LOVE to hear from anyone who might be able to help us do even more next year.

Thanks again!
